Liminal Space
Therapy
The project "Liminal Space" uses research tools and methodologies to forecast trends. The scenario was developed based on what life will be like in the year 2040, and suitable concepts were constructed with the help of a comprehensive literature analysis.

Scenario Building
Challenge:
The task at hand for our group was to construct a Design Future Scenario through the understanding of methods of Design Foresight which would aid in shaping the future direction of businesses and organisations.
Scenario:
The future scenario is set in 2040, when countries are at war and irreversible environmental damage has transpired. People now engage digitally, thanks to more affordable and accessible technology, which has become a significant aspect of daily life. Social isolation has replaced social distancing in recent times. Due to a lack of physical interaction and stimulation, this never-ending cycle of problems has resulted in a significant detrimental effect on everyone's mental health.
Depression has been diagnosed in one out of every four persons, making mental wellbeing a priority for everyone. There is a need for emotional support, therapeutic diversion, and an increasing demands for spaces and touch and connection-stimulating activities.
Proposed Solution (Concept):
The use of the proposed kit by mental health therapists can potentially expose the user to a carefully regulated phygital (physical + digital) environment made by medical professionals This will assist in gathering data from the user and assist them to decide on a patient's treatment plan.
