Tinder Type
Finder
Tinder is a popular online dating and geosocial networking application. With 91 million people logging onto dating sites globally, Tinder was also becoming increasingly popular in a traditional country like India where the concept of 'dating' remained a taboo.

Challenge:
India while embracing globalisation, still retained traditional views on the concept of relationships. While dating before marriage was gradually becoming more mainstream and acceptable, internet dating was still considered taboo. It was essential for the Tinder to understand the customs and traditions of the Indian consumer and ease them into the notion of dating. In that circumstance, I developed the idea of introducing various types of users on the app in order to familiarise Indian women with Tinder.
UX Concept:
I developed an interactive concept that allowed users to experience a "simulation" of the regular activities involved in finding a
match on Tinder and engaging in a conversation with them in order to acquaint the audience with the app. The Tinder type finder starts when a potential user chooses the bio that appeals to them, followed by typical conversations which are based on the actual experiences of Tinder users. A person's character is built on their interests and personality attributes. As a result, the user discovers their Tinder type through these interactions based on mutual interests.
The interactive Tinder type finder was proposed to be featured on the website, encouraging visitors to explore the site and engaging them with the product.
